Xuedou Temple
Xuedou Temple, located in the center of Fenghua Scenic Area, was known in the Ming Dynasty as One of the Ten Top Temples of China. Nestled in mountains and set off by waterfalls, the temple is distinct for its scenery, known as "the fairyland in the world". Covering an area of over 80,000 sq m, the temple is built on the slope of the mountain, and along the axis are buildings of the Front Gate, the Mercy Ponds, the Screen Wall, the Hall of the Heavenly King, the Hall of Maitreya, the Main Hall, and the Rite Hall.
