A nine-year school of Ningbo Experimental School Affiliated to Shanghai Normal University put into use upon its handover ceremony

In the afternoon of yesterday (August 23), the Handover Ceremony of the Ningbo Experimental School Affiliated to Shanghai Normal University was held, manifesting that another high-quality basic education facility in the Fenghua district is completed and put into use, and that major livelihood supporting facilities in the Fangqiao area has been effectively improved. Pan Duo, Deputy District Mayor of the Fenghua District, attended the ceremony.

The Ningbo Experimental School Affiliated to Shanghai Normal University is a project developed by the China Jinmao Holdings Group Limited in the Ningbo Life Science City for the benefit of the people. The school boasts a total of 60 classes, including 42 classes for primary students and 18 classes for junior students. It is equipped with functional areas such as laboratory, lecture hall, canteen, dance classroom, library, administrative office area, indoor gymnasium and outdoor playground, etc. to meet daily needs. The overall campus design combines the academy culture in Ningbo and the landscape culture in Fenghua with the concept of being a “standing garden and stacked academy” as the ideology for development, having developed a layout of half courtyard and half mountains. On the basis of inheriting the academic culture in Ningbo, it provides students with a charming learning environment. The school is to welcome the first students in the coming September 1 and will be developed into a famous school providing basic education services with both cultural and international characteristics.

The establishment of this first nine-year school in Fenghua is of great significance for demonstration, which not only makes up for the lack of high-quality education in the area, but also improves regional energy level and improves urban function. It is an important achievement in implementing the Shanghai-Ningbo cooperation and promoting the high-level integrated development of basic education in the Yangtze River Delta.

On the same day, China Jinmao Scholarship Fund for students and teachers were officially established to encourage more Straight-A students and outstanding teachers to help promote the school to be developed into a benchmark school in Fenghua.
