In the evening of September 12, as the No. 14 Typhoon “Chanthu” gradually approaching the coast of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, the Yuelin Sub-district and the Fenghua District Urban Investment Group organized personnel to dredge the blocked river channel of the Sizhang River at the gate of the Ningbo Lipinge Automation Equipment Co., Ltd., east of the Baixiang Road and the East Ring Road.

From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. last night, at the construction site, more than 10 workers and 2 excavators were working intensively under the searchlight. It took them 4 hours to dredge the river channel about 20 meters long and 20 meters wide. The person in charge of onsite construction said that after dredging, it will effectively alleviate the waterlogging caused by river water backflow in the eastern suburb industrial zone.
