In the afternoon of September 3, a simple donation ceremony was held in the Fenghua District Red Cross Society. The Ningbo Xinxin Good Time Lighting Co., Ltd. donated materials of more than 150,000 yuan such as a vehicle, kayaks and motorboats to the Red Cross Red Sea Emergency Rescue Team in the district to help the rescue team improve the hardware level and play a more important role in emergency rescue operations in the Fenghua District and even surrounding areas.

At the donation ceremony, Li Yongzheng, Secretary of the Party Group of the Fenghua District Red Cross Society, signed a donation agreement with Li Guoping, President of the Ningbo Xinxin Good Time Lighting Co., Ltd. and presented a donation certificate and an awarding banner. “During the period of ‘In-Fa’, I learnt that there’s an emergency rescue team named Red Sea Emergency Rescue Team participating in the fight against the typhoon and rescues in Fenghua. The team also went to other places, including Dongqiao, to help with rescues. I was deeply moved.” The day after the typhoon, I contacted the rescue team and said that I want to donate a batch of rescue materials to them.” Li Guoping said. According to the actual needs of the Red Cross Red Sea Emergency Rescue Team, the company donated a 17-seat Quanshun car, 2 kayaks, 2 motorboats, 2 oars, 10 torrent life jackets, 1 external power and some motorboat accessories with a total value of over 150,000 yuan. Li Guoping said that the equipment will be used to enrich and improve the rescue level of the rescue team. At the same time, it’s also wished that more caring entrepreneurs could care about the construction of emergency rescue forces in our district and that this positive energy could be passed on.

It’s learnt that the Red Cross Red Sea Emergency Rescue Team, established in April 2015, is a voluntary service organization subordinate to the Fenghua District Red Cross Society. At present, it has 124 members. This year, during the period of fighting against the Typhoon “In-Fa”, 266 person times of the rescue team were on duty for 6 days, transferring more than 600 people trapped, 180 poultry and several trips of mass materials. The team has become an important emergency rescue force in the Fenghua District.
