On January 6, the assessment and acceptance team of the Zhejiang Province assessed and accepted the work that Fenghua had done for the application for being one of the first provincial modern sports areas from 2019 to 2021. Wei Jian’gen, Vice Secretary of the CPC Fenghua District Committee and Acting District Mayor of the Fenghua District, attended the activity.

On the same day, the provincial assessment and acceptance team checked the data of the work that had been done and inquired about relevant situation in detail. Later on, the team paid visits to the Training Base of Junior Sports School in the Experimental Middle School and the Changting Community to check projects, including the sports school training places, rural people’s gyms, community multi-functional sports grounds, sports industry and so on, and to learn the measures that had been taken for epidemic prevention and control as a normal practice, the venue construction, operation and opening, etc., meanwhile “3 Services” were provided.

At the report meeting, Wei Jian’gen made a report entitled Report on the Establishment of a Modern Sports Area of the Fenghua District in the Zhejiang Province. The provincial assessment and acceptance team said that Fenghua attaches great importance to the establishment of a modern sports area, and can accurately locate, grasp its own advantages, actively make up for its shortcomings, and has achieved remarkable results and effectively promoted high-quality development of the sports cause.

Through preliminary technical evaluation and this time’s assessment and acceptance, the Fenghua District finally makes a high score upon the assessment of the application for being a provincial modern sports area, meeting the standard for assessment and acceptance.
