In the afternoon of November 3, the commencement ceremony of the future community (future village) project in the Tengtou Village with a total investment of 2.052 billion yuan was held. Hu Yongguang, Secretary of the CPC Fenghua District Committee, announced the commencement of the project. Wei Jian'gen, Gu Weiwei, Chen Hongwei, Xu Zhenyu, Tang Junhua, Li Chunquan, Zhang Wei, Chu Mingsheng and so on participated in the activity.

The Tengtou Future Community project is one of the third batch of provincial pilot projects for demolition and renovation, and is also the first future community in the Fenghua District and the only pilot project of the first batch of provincial future villages. The Tengtou Community is a future community with both urban characteristics and rural features. It is intended to become a model of Ningbo's "urban-rural integration" and common prosperity, and a demonstration window of urban-rural integration and development featuring "scientific innovation, cultural innovation and agricultural innovation". It is reported that the Tengtou Future Community (Future Village) project includes the construction of a Common Prosperity Park, a History Corridor, the expansion of the Cultural Auditorium, three bridges and two roads, upgrading for charming rivers and lakes, beautiful courtyard reconstruction of wel-off residential quarters, the main body of the Party-mass Service Center, the southern plot for rural housing, the northern plot for resettlement housing and the neighborhood center. It is expected to be fully completed in January 2026.
