Yesterday afternoon, the "Savoring the Charm of Books · Overseas Chinese Glimpse into Fenghua" themed reading event, commemorating the 30th World Book Day under the theme "Memories of Fenghua", was held at the Sanwei Bookstore.

The event specially invited local history and cultural expert Wang Shunqi to read and discuss local chronicles with the attendees. The overseas Chinese participants listened attentively, gaining a deeper understanding of Fenghua's historical and cultural heritage.

During the book-sharing session, the presenter selected excerpts from the work “Hometown Everywhere” by local writer Shen Xiaoxiao. Combining personal experiences from overseas Chinese affairs work, the presenter shared profound and heartfelt insights from reading.

What’s more, yesterday morning, the awarding ceremony for the 12th "Sanwei Literature Prize" & the 4th "Sanwei Peach Blossom Prize" was held at the Sanwei Bookstore.

Since its establishment, the "Sanwei Literature Prize" has spanned twelve years, recognizing over a hundred outstanding local literary works and becoming a vital platform for fostering literary creation in the Ningbo region.

Meanwhile, the "Sanwei Peach Blossom Prize", established in 2021 and renamed in 2022, has gradually become an important stage for young literary talents to showcase their creativity.
