On May 15, the First Awarding Ceremony for the "Zhang Zibin Hongbang Career Incentive Fund" was held at the Fenghua District Vocational Education Center. Zhang Zongqi, a renowned entrepreneur with his root in Fenghua, a member of the Ningbo and Fenghua CPPCC Hong Kong and Macau Committees, and President of the Hong Kong-Fenghua Fellowship Association, attended the ceremony.

It is reported that the "Zhang Zibin Hongbang Career Incentive Fund" was established by Zhang Zongqi on November 6, 2024, at the Fenghua District Vocational Education Center. The fund aims to discover and cultivate Hongbang craftsmanship talents, providing solid talent support for the sustainable development of the Hongbang cause.

At the ceremony, 27 awardees, including recipients of the National Scholarship, winners of the National Freshmen Cup Competition in Fashion Design, provincial and Ningbo skills competitions, and the Fashion Department's "Monthly Points Competition", became the first beneficiaries of the fund. Awardee representative Mao Yizhou said: "We must take the Hongbang spirit of our predecessors as our guide, inherit their craftsmanship, strive for excellence, treat every garment as a work of art, and become qualified successors of the Hongbang tradition." During the ceremony, Zhang Zongqi recounted his father Zhang Zibin's journey of bringing Hongbang tailoring skills to Hong Kong and building the "Ascot Chang" brand, now serving clients in over 80 countries. He encouraged students to uphold the original aspirations of craftsmanship and spread the Hongbang spirit worldwide.

For the next step, the Fenghua District United Front Work Department will collaborate with the education authorities and the Fenghua District Garment Association to establish additional internship bases at the Zhejiang Aiyimei Garment Co., Ltd., the Ningbo Yachu Fashion Co., Ltd., and the Ningbo Mondiland Garment Co., Ltd..
