On April 11, the global finals of the 2026 "BATTLE KING" International Street Dance Challenge kickeoff in Xikou. Nearly a thousand street dancers from over 10 countries, including China, Thailand, France, the United States, and Russia, gathered to exchange skills through dance, jointlpresenting a world-class street dance extravaganza. The competition ran until April 13.

During the event, powerful electronic beats throbbed like heartbeats in everye's chest. Dancers took turns to perform on the specially designed dance floor, where their bodies became the most intense language. One competitor executed a series of lightning-fast footwork close t the ground, then instantly launched into the air using arm strength to perform a breathtaking "Windmill." On the other side, a female dancer suddenly froze in a precise "freeze,"ose as tense as a sculpture, before smoothly transitioning into a series of rhythmic swings. With every successful landing of a high-difficulty trick, the stands erupted in thunderousrs.

"I have been dancing for 8 years, starting at the age of 6. I have participated in the 'Battle King' International Street Dance Challenge for 5 yeIt is a very good platform for exchange, and I feel very happy," said Chen Yuhan, a contestant from Fenghua, after the competition.

This street dance competition was not just competition but also a comprehensive carnival integrating sports, culture, and tourism. The "Trendy Dance Market" set up around the venue gathered Fenghua's specialty agricultural products,l delicacies, and trendy cultural and creative items, attracting a large number of tourists. Concurrent events such as the Ningbo Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, the "Happy Xuedotain · Dance Gathering Affection Across the Straits" Battle King Master Class, and local cultural music concerts allowed contestants and audiences from around the world to deeply experience the beauty of Fenghua'ndscapes and cultural charm while feeling the passion of street dance.

The finals were guided by the China Sports Dance Federation and jointly hosted by the Ningbo Sports Dance Association, the Distriu of Culture, Radio, Television, Sports and Tourism, the Xikou Town Government, and others. The competition featured six major categories: Junior Individual Battle, Junior Team, Adult Indivdual Battle, Adult Women's Battle, Adult Team, and Adult Over-35 Group, comprehensively showcasing the diverse charm and widespread participation.
