In the early morning of July 30, as the sky just began to brighten, the rice fields next to the "Shan Shan Sipsoul cafe in Xiaowangmiao Temple were already bustling with activity. Twenty young cadres from Changling Community in Jinping Subdistrict and Taoli Community in Xiaowangmiao Subdistrict joined hands with students from the Business School of Ningbo University to launch a unique summer themed activity titled "Rice Transplanting Diary".

The event kicked off with a traditional "Opening Seedling Gate" blessing ceremony. Subsequently, experienced village mentors taught the essentials of rice transplanting step-by-step—covering plant spacing, depth, and technique—with attention to every detail. Immediately after, a heated "Rice Transplanting Competition" took place. The young people formed teams, rolled up their pants, and waded into the fields compete in speed and neatness. Mud splashed all over their legs, and laughter echoed across the fields.

At the end of the activity, all the young participants sat together on the ridges to listen to "Reflections from the Dawn Rice Field" and the ecological story of "Rice-Shrimp Co-culture", completing an ecological micro-lesson "stained with and dew".
