Recently, the Fenghua District "Fenglu Cup" Qualifying Round—Industrial Equipment Control (PLC) Vocational Skills Competition, part of the 3rd Ningbo Skills Competition 2025, was held at the Fenghua Base of Ningbo Public Training Center for High-Skilled Talents. Organized by the Fenghua District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and undertaken by the Fenghua District Talent Service Center, the event attracted 82 technical experts from 51 intelligent manufacturing enterprises across the district to compete on the same stage.

As a key skills competition brand in our district, the "Fenglu Cup" Qualifying Round has always adhered to an industry-driven approach. The PLC vocational skills competition closely aligned with the district’s "Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Zone" initiative, focusing on core industrial automation skills. Through a dual assessment model combining "theory + practice", it comprehensively evaluated participants' professional competence and technical proficiency.

At the competition, the contestants remained composed under pressure, demonstrating both exceptional technical skills and strong professionalism. Top performers will represent the district in the municipal-level finals in Ningbo. Meanwhile, these outstanding "technical elites" will be included in the district’s high-skilled talent pool, benefiting from specialized training policies.

An official from the Fenghua District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau stated that hosting such skills competitions is a key measure in implementing the district’s talent-strengthening strategy. Our district will further enhance the "training-competition-employment-promotion" service chain, using competitions to boost learning and training. This will accelerate the development of an industrial talent academy, bridging the "last mile" between talent cultivation and industrial needs.
